For a Warranty Voucher to be considered, the following has to be completed:
- The startup form that comes with the install book has to be completed (fully with no blank fields) to show the equipment has been started properly. See note 1 below.
- The equipment has to be registered within the warranty system.
- The diagnosis has to be confirmed with proof. See note 2 below.
Once the above list is complete, the Warranty Voucher form needs to be completed using the form below; any media (pictures, video and etc.) along with any associated service tickets will need to be uploaded to the form before clicking the submit button.
Note1:
The startup form provided with the equipment installation book is available in PDF form located in the resources menu; these forms are also acceptable for use in recording readings for diagnostic purposes.
Note 2:
Proof of diagnosis includes but not limited to:
- Refrigerant leaks – Picture/Video of soap bubbles confirming leak & leak location (pictures/video of leak detector is not acceptable).
- Compressor – Diagnosis must include mode of failure (i.e. locked rotor, no pump, limit open and etc.) and readings to support diagnosis (i.e. resistance values, pressures and etc.)
- Blower Wheel/Fan Blades – Pictures of failed part.
- Electric Motors (condenser, blower & compressor) – Details of diagnostic procedures performed with recorded readings and if motor is PSC, the start components need to be listed as well as their confirmed readings.
- Heat Exchanger – Details of diagnostic procedures, actual readings and pictures if diagnosed with crack/leaks or holes in the exchanger.
- All – All diagnosis must include actual power supply readings for high and low voltage.
